Welcome, dear reader…
This is only our first post here, so we think we should greet and introduce to you. The blog is run by the two of us, so trust us - at the moment we are tossing a coin, to choose which one should introduce first. We’re completely different and it’s hardly impossible for us to create a unity - but here we are. Antinomy, oxymoron, paradox, antilogy, Pinky and the Brain.
Pinky - a story about a princess on the bunch of life issues.
In its natural habitat, sociable and friendly creation from the genre Humanus Commonus. I live beyond the rules and often I get lost in my own thoughts, especially statements. I’m not a great humanist, but science usually drives me crazy. Perhaps in 10 years we will meet in a fast-food bar, where I will willingly sell you a plus set. As you can see, my sense of humour is great and as you can see, sarcasm is my middle name. I rather don’t take anything seriously and I’m a cynical teenager, which often can’t hold her tongue. I say what I want and I usually don’t pay attention to other people’s opinion. Is it a good introduction of my worst side? Of course it is. I don’t want you to think my life is perfect and I’m a dream daughter and always reliable friend. I’m not an excellent student or careless nixie. I love being controversial and weird. I love being the center of attention. It doesn’t matter how they talk about me, it matters they talk at all…
Brain - below is almost everything what’s wrong in me.
If you ask about my disadvantages, I always shortly reply my only one is my whole nature. There is no balance in any aspect of my life, especially emotional. I get angry too fast, eat too slow, try too hard and control not enough. Surprising, I’m quite organized and I will go mad if something is different than like I planned it. I’m a spitfire, hypocrite, valetudinarian and I love using long, intelligent sounding words making people google them and get to know something new. Most of my ‘free’ time I don’t see the world outside learning - I read, count, conclude, repeat in all ways. I learn a lot of languages and use them to offend people which disrupt my internal calm. My ambitions are strictly corrected with science, but for self-actualisation I may be a polyglot, businesswoman or a teamleader. Theoretically I am a sociable person, but if by this you mean I like to spend time with people, ‘sociable’ I am for Pinky only - in other cases it’s more like people like to spend time with me. I’m too confident and I appreciate myself too much (the previous sentence {editorial note}), egocentrism and despotism are my best friends until I pass someone through my exorbitant barriers of selecting friends. No, Pinky doesn’t fit them at all.
How do we look in each others eyes?
In my opinion Brain is the most annoying person in the world. Especially when I have to wait for her, condescendingly dressing with the speed of a turtle. She is continuously whining and she’s never pleased with things I do for her.
I would like to notice, that the only thing Pinky does for me is… - oh wait, she does pretty nothing for me. Nothing useful. I’m sure maybe in fairytales or fantasy films you’ve seen a theme of an angel and a devil sitting on one’s shoulders and persuade you to to good or bad things - Pinky always plays the second one in my life.
It’s not my fault Brain always has to plan everything and make it goes perfect. Do you know how hard is it for me to took her for a small, innocent house party?
Do you know how hard is it for me to stop her from telling too much inadequate things?
We may often look for ways to kill each other, but more often we try to come to terms and together make something to express ourselves and leave a mark on Internet’s history. With a pleasure we welcome you in our virtual doorways, hoping you will adopt us with love and respect inside the variety of content offered to you in these times.
